-208 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70208, this is an AS568-208 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.609 in (15.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.887 in (22.53 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Expect good resistance to water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and ketones. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, HVAC and refrigeration, and potable water applications.
