The E70NSF235 is an AS568-235 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.109 in (78.97 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.387 in (86.03 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is known for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, potable water applications, and HVAC and refrigeration.
