The E70NSF237 is an AS568-237 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.359 in (85.32 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.637 in (92.38 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists water and steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and brake fluid. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
