Part number E70NSF250 is an AS568-250 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.984 in (126.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.262 in (133.65 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The compound resists brake fluid, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
