-272 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-272 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 9.484 in (240.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.762 in (247.95 mm), catalogued under part number E70272. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to brake fluid, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature.
