-310 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70310 is an AS568-310 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.475 in (12.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.895 in (22.73 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists brake fluid, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.
