-338 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70338, this is an AS568-338 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.1 in (78.74 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.52 in (89.41 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) delivers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists brake fluid, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.
