EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
