Part number E70383 is an AS568-383 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.395 in (365.63 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
