-428 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70428, this is an AS568-428 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.4 in (137.16 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. This material stands up to brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and ozone, UV and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in water and steam systems, brake and phosphate ester systems, and HVAC and refrigeration.
