-435 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70435 is an AS568-435 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.275 in (159.39 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
