-440 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70440 is an AS568-440 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.275 in (184.79 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. This material stands up to brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
