Ordered as E70450, this is an AS568-450 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.025 in (280.04 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations.
