-475 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70475 is an AS568-475 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 25.94 in (658.88 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 26.49 in (672.85 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.
