-006 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

APG stocks the E70006, an AS568-006 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ketones, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.

It sees regular use in solar and roofing assemblies, water and steam systems, and outdoor equipment.
