Part number E70016 is an AS568-016 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Expect good resistance to brake fluid, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
