Part number E70017 is an AS568-017 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

Typical settings include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
