Ordered as E70NSF029, this is an AS568-029 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.489 in (37.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.629 in (41.38 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.
