-039 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70039 is an AS568-039 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.739 in (69.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.879 in (73.13 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material holds up against ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and water and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
