APG stocks the E70046, an AS568-046 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.239 in (107.67 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.379 in (111.23 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to water and steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
