-047 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70047 is an AS568-047 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
