-050 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70050 is an AS568-050 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is valued for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
