This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 10 mm (0.394 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 12 mm (0.47 in), catalogued under part number E1X10. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. This material stands up to ketones, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.
