E70103 is an AS568-103 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.081 in (2.06 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.287 in (7.29 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and brake fluid. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
