This o-ring is supplied in AS568-105 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm), catalogued under part number E70105. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) delivers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists brake fluid, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
