-106 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-106 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.174 in (4.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.38 in (9.65 mm), catalogued under part number E70106. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists water and steam, brake fluid, and ozone, UV and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
