-109 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70109 is an AS568-109 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. It resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.
