This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 109.2 mm (4.299 in), a cross section of 5.7 mm (0.224 in), and an outside diameter of 120.6 mm (4.75 in), catalogued under part number E5.7X109.2. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material holds up against brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
