Ordered as E2.5X11, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11 mm (0.433 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) delivers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to water and steam, brake fluid, and ketones. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, water and steam systems, and outdoor equipment.
