The E70NSF114 is an AS568-114 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists water and steam, brake fluid, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, brake and phosphate ester systems, and solar and roofing assemblies.
