Part number E70NSF115 is an AS568-115 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.674 in (17.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.88 in (22.35 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ketones. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.
