This o-ring is supplied in AS568-116 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.737 in (18.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.943 in (23.95 mm), catalogued under part number E70116. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to ozone, UV and weathering, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance.
