This o-ring is supplied in AS568-120 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.987 in (25.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.193 in (30.3 mm), catalogued under part number E70NSF120. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.
