E70122 is an AS568-122 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants call for a different compound.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across water and steam systems, potable water applications, and HVAC and refrigeration.
