E3X124.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 124.5 mm (4.902 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 130.5 mm (5.14 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) offers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and water and steam. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, outdoor equipment, and HVAC and refrigeration.
