Part number E70128 is an AS568-128 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.487 in (37.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.693 in (43 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) is specified for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
