E70NSF136 is an AS568-136 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against ozone, UV and weathering, ketones, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and outdoor equipment.
