-137 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70137 is an AS568-137 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.05 in (52.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.256 in (57.3 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in water and steam systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and outdoor equipment.
