E70147 is an AS568-147 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.675 in (67.95 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.881 in (73.18 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to brake fluid, water and steam, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

Typical settings include water and steam systems, outdoor equipment, and potable water applications.
