Part number E1X1.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), a cross section of 0.039 in (1 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.5 mm (0.14 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists brake fluid, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) is specified for very good flexibility at low temperature, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
