-153 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70153 is an AS568-153 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.487 in (88.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.693 in (93.8 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ketones. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.
