E2.4X15.3 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 15.3 mm (0.602 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 20.1 mm (0.79 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to ketones, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
