-157 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

APG stocks the E70157, an AS568-157 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and water and steam. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
