E5.7X159.3 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 159.3 mm (6.272 in), a cross section of 5.7 mm (0.224 in), and an outside diameter of 170.7 mm (6.72 in). This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
