-162 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70162 is an AS568-162 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
