Ordered as E2.4X16.3, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 16.3 mm (0.642 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 21.1 mm (0.83 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. It resists ketones, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
