E5.7X164.3 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 164.3 mm (6.469 in), a cross section of 5.7 mm (0.224 in), and an outside diameter of 175.7 mm (6.92 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope. This item is further identified as Metric O-RING, JIS G165.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and water and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
