3MM CS X 164.5MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

E3X164.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 164.5 mm (6.476 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 170.5 mm (6.71 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to brake fluid, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. EPDM (EPR) offers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

Common environments for this compound include brake and phosphate ester systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and outdoor equipment.
