E70165 is an AS568-165 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
