3MM CS X 17MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

APG stocks the E3X17, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17 mm (0.669 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 23 mm (0.91 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Typical settings include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and water and steam systems.
